The Royal Baby-Lip Shade “Charlotte”: A Perfect Birthday Gift from Mark Jacobs for the Royal Princess
Princess Charlotte, The Royal baby has successfully made the pretty ladies around the globe jealous of her, after all how many women get such a singular gift for their birthday? The little diva has now a lipstick shade named after her by Mark Jacobs.
The lipstick simply named ‘Charlotte’, is a part of the Le Mark lip cre’me collection. The colour is like that of the “deepest saturated pink tones of an English rose” stated Catherine Gore, global vice president and general manager of Mark Jacobs beauty. “We wanted to commemorate this major brand milestone by creating a custom shade of Le Marc lip cre’me” she added. We are sure that pretty women all around the world will be eager to order it as soon as they can get their hands on it, but for the moment it is available exclusively at the English chain of stores Harrods in London. The lipstick will cost you around $34. It is going to be available at the Colour Hall throughout February and then you can get it at Harrod’s White Hall outlet till the next two years. Whether or not it is going to be available in the US is still a matter of debate. For now the company aims to keep the store sale limited only to UK. But, not to worry, you can order it online, just at $64 (worldwide shipping cost included!).
Baby Charlotte apapparently made history because no other royal has ever had a cosmetic named after them. Duchess Catherine brought with her the craze of the famous sapphire engagement rings and Princess Diana had a song written for her. But, a cosmetic being named after a royal is definitely new.
All we can do now is wait for the lipstick to be made available outside UK and contemplate whether other cosmetic companies are going to name their new cologne ‘George’.
